Cleaning Instructions
SwissGrip handles and those made of PP + TPE thermoplastic elastomer materials
To get the best possible results when cleaning our handles, we recommend using cleaning materials that have been especially developed for synthetic materials (cleaning agents for plastics, car interior cleaners).
Our handles are resistant to solvents (methanol, ethylene glycol), oils (edible oils, grease, fuel oils, etc.), acids (acetic acids, amino acids, hydrochloric acid, etc.) and salts (sodium salt, copper salt, etc.).
Important: They are not resistant to benzene, kerosene, gasoline, toluene, trichloroethylene and perchloroethylene.
Cleaning tools containing electronic components (e.g. DigiTorque torque wrench handles)
- Apply some of the cleaning substance to a cloth or a damp sponge
- Wipe the handle thoroughly
- Use a clean, wrung out cloth to wipe the handle
- Dry the handle using a clean, soft cloth
Routine care of tools without any electronic components
- Apply some of the cleaning substance to a cloth or a damp sponge
- Wipe the handle thoroughly
- Wash the handle using clean water
- Dry the handle using a clean, soft cloth
Classic handles and multicraft handles made of CAB materials
To get the best possible results, you can treat these handles with ordinary cleaning agents. In addition, they are resistant to gasoline, and to mineral oils and greases.
Important: They are not resistant to acetone and thinners.
